Background
Marysabel and Moises are rockstar producers in Honduras, and we are really excited to have purchased our first natural processed Catuai from them. They are second and third generation farmers who are well-known for their commitment to developing qiuality in Honduras.
At their farms, the soil is clay-like and the primary varietal grown is Catuai. Everything at the farms is documented and the couple invest a lot of time and resources into upgrading equipment, planting higher quality varieties, and improving the soil to ensure healthy conditions for coffee growing.
Mogola #10 is well-balanced with a smooth yet jammy mouthfeel. As a natural procesed coffee, it is clean and surprisingly lively in acidity, with a nice supporting sweetness of chocolate and sweet spice.
