When it comes to espresso paired with milk, we think there are few coffees that hit as hard as a sweet, natural Ethiopian coffee. Urabeast offers milk coffee lovers a beautiful and rich fruit tone of blueberries and ripe tropical fruit are expressed so well in milk. This coffee was grown by smallholder farmers living around the smaller regions of Tobotu, Gomoro, and Suke in the larger Guji region of Ethiopia. The name “Urabeast” comes from the “Uraga” area where the coffee is from, and “beast” to reflect the resilience and energy of the coffee-growers.
Although we sourced and roasted this especially for milk espresso drinkers, this coffee can also be enjoyed black if you prefer a richer mouthfeel, a slightly lower acidity, and more sugar-browning flavours, compared to the range of coffees we prefer to showcase solely as black coffees, be it in a filter or espresso format.
