Riripa washing station is located along the border of the Bale Mountain forest, and coffee-growing here benefits from dense forest shade, an abundance of rainfall early in the season and occasional showers towards the harvest. 742 smallholder farmers deliver their cherries to Riripa, and the coffees are certified as organic.
Nensebo Riripa #2 is clean, with a fruity intensity and almost candy-like sweetness and florals that reminds us of white tea. This coffee has a layered complexity to its flavours, and we think it’s an absolute banger either as an espresso or a filter coffee.
