Ethiopia - Faficho

Faficho is our first release from this year’s Ethiopian harvest. Coming from Tamiru Tadesse’s main washing station, Alo, in the Sidama region, this coffee was harvested as uniformly ripe cherries, dried on African raised beds for 26 days, and turned every hour under shade to protect the cherries from direct sunlight. This results in an even fermentation, minimal off-flavours, and it shows in how clean this coffee is. We love that the unmistakable varietal flavour of peach from 74158 has been retained across harvest seasons.

This year, all of our Ethiopian coffees are from Tamiru’s hard work, and we hope to showcase the diverse and distinctive flavour range that his washing stations can provide.
